PR: Viz Digital Sale

Well, this is exciting and has me contemplating stocking up on digital manga for my winter vacation! Viz is putting their digital titles on sale until January 8 at 20% off. There are a few series that I haven’t been getting in print that I’m thinking of picking up in the sale like Blue Exorcist and some of the recent volumes of Cross Game. The digital VizBig edition of Fushigi Yugi might inspire me to replace some of my print volumes. What looks good to you?

  1. This is fantastic, I just wish they would finish bringing in more volumes of titles such as Excel Saga on to the service so that I could actually take advantage of this. It’s criminal how some series are never updated even though the print runs are ending with 20+ volumes.

Exactly how hard is it to scan these things into the system when you already have the rights to sell them?

  2. Hmmm seeing as to how cheap manga can get in Japan.. I am always cautious as to what to get and what not to get. I can say that with Hikaru no Go’s MMF’s coming up.. I kinda wish Viz would put the entire 23 volume series on the market..
