  1. My favorite shojo heroine would probably be Usagi from Sailor Moon. She’s always been a favorite since my childhood~

  2. Usagi Tsukino! :3 Maybe an obvious choice… haha. 😀

  3. Tohru from Fruits Basket. She makes me so happy. 🙂

  4. Usagi is one of those classic heroines 🙂

  5. FurrySaint says

    Shoujo isn’t just magical girls, but I will have to follow the crowd here and go with Usagi Tsukino. ^^;

  6. The main character of Skip Beat — Kyoko Mogami. I remember picking up the manga in my high school library and falling in love with it. I stood outside the school doors with a volume of it in hand after school each day, figuring I looked pretty badass even though I was holding a “girly” manga. Ah, memories~

  7. I love Skip Beat, and Kyoko is such a unique heroine.

  8. It’s gotta be Miyazawa Yukino. Not only do I feel a kinship because of some of her traits and personality quirks, I also deeply respect the choices and perseverance she shows throughout Kare Kano. What a wonderful person!

  9. Haruhi from Ouran High School Host Club, while she doesn’t strive to do anything then be happy and studious, she gets swept up amongst the insanity of the boys in the series, and she not so secretly loves it. Yet at the same time, she doesn’t let it change who she is, and she can still be headstrong when it comes to particular things that they just don’t get.

  10. Iku Kasahara from Library Wars. I love that series.
