About

I am a librarian who reads too much manga.
I started reading manga in the late 1980s, when Viz first started putting out manga in comic book format. Somewhere I have a box of old issues of Mai the Psychic Girl and Area 88. I missed the early part of the manga wave in the US, but stumbled across Sailor Moon and Rurouni Kenshin and started collecting manga again. I mostly read shoujo, but I enjoy the occasional shonen series now and then.

I also blog at TangognaT and am a contributing writer for @fakeapstylebook.

You can buy the @fakeAPStyle Book Book I helped to write!

Vagabond
A Bride’s Story
Kaze Hikaru
House of Five Leaves

Some favorite completed series:

Legend of Basara
Swan (sadly incomplete)
